Android 4.2 Gmail download links pulled at Google’s request

On the request of Google the Android 4.2 Gmail links now has been pulled. But the company did not seems to be happy with the release of Android 4.2.

In fact, it looks like the Search giant has asked Android Police, the online publication that put up Gmail 4.2 download links in the first place to remove them. Here’s what Android Police wrote on its Google+ page:

FYI: Google asked us to take down the Gmail apk mirrors fromhttp://www.androidpolice.com/2012/10/12/exclusive-download-the-unreleased-gmail-4-2-apk-with-pinch-to-zoom-and-more/ [sic], and we have complied with their request.

Its understandable why the Google is hiding Android 4.2 details hidden before any upcoming media event.
And earlier we have tell about LG NEXUS 4  which also they want to keep secret. But this activity also leaked?
